Dungeon Souls involves hack and slash gameplay that is absolutely brutal. If you die. You have to start over. Everything you once had is gone and nothing but a faint memory of what was once there.
The developers of this game did a great job in providing an entertaining atmosphere as well as an easily understood environment. Once you get the hang of things, it’s very straightforward, but it feels different every time you play a new hero.
In this video, I showcase five Barbarian, Archer, Thief, Warrior, Necromancer, and Nightblade. Each of these heroes have their own unique abilities that have a different feel and playstyle.
The Barbarian is a berserking nightmare that can flurry attacks like no other. Oh and he zaps lightning from his fingers. Wat.
The Archer is everything a typical archer would be like. He flings arrows with a bow. He can shoot many arrows at the same time. He can make it rain…arrows. Low health pool, but played tactfully and you’re in for a fun ride.
The Thief dies very easily.
The Warrior is fierce and resembles a Roman warrior. He wields a sword that can cleave multiple enemies in his immediate surroundings. It’s almost like watching art on the battlefield. He can also summon spirit swords like Vergil from Devil May Cry that pierce through the blackest hearts of divorced women too.
The Necromancer flings mystic bolts of genocide that homes in on enemies. He can summon up to four members of his squad to back him up in case he needs people to throw hands. He can also sacrifice a small percentage of his health to go beast mode and empower his basic attack.
The Nightblade is more overpowered than sv_cheats 1. He wields a hammer the size of a titan’s genitalia and hits the hardest out of any hero. He dashes into battle with supreme defensive capabilities, but that’s not his best feature. He wields two weapons. Titan gonads and a Chakram. This ring of decimation actively seeks out enemies and makes dungeons feel like an episode of Sesame Street.
There are boss battles. They’re pretty difficult. It’s like bullet hell on Human Growth Hormones.
Coins make a satisfying collection noise.
10/10 would never pick thief again.
Wandom Kicking off the Let’s Play section of The Last Moon, a random game from any genre will be selected. It could literally be anything, except Shrek 2. You’ll play along side a friendly face and learn more about the player as we play the game.
