HackerOne, Wikimedia, Reddit, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), joined with GitHub for a discussion about a controversial proposal—up for a vote in EU Parliament on Sept. 12—that would affect developers by requiring upload filters, imposing a “link tax,” and leaving text and data mining restricted.
